The Arizona Power Plant and Transmission Line Siting Committee will hold a public hearing beginning Sept. 16 to consider a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility (CEC) application for the Ocotillo Modernization Project.
APS filed the CEC application with the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) on July 31.
The hearing will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel located at 4400 S. Rural Rd. in Tempe. The public will have an opportunity to comment on the project during in a special evening session on Sept. 16, beginning at 6 p.m.
Public comment also may be taken at the beginning of each hearing day or at other times during the hearing at the discretion of the committee chairman.

Hearing Schedule (subject to change)
Tuesday, Sept. 16: Hearing begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by public comment session at 6 p.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 17: Hearing begins at 9 a.m., unless Ocotillo plant tour is scheduled. Plant tour would begin at 8 a.m., with hearing start time TBD.
Thursday, Sept. 18: Hearing begins at 9 a.m., if necessary
