A more flexible model
APS informed the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) that we intend to submit a rate case, our first in five years, in June.
The filing is the first step in an open, public process that determines the price of your electricity. This simply gives the ACC time to prepare and plan for the process.
This filing provides a preview of issues we plan to address in our request. We will seek to modernize our rate structure while continuing to invest in the priorities our customers want:
a cleaner energy mix
an advanced power grid that enables more innovation and more customer control
above all else, reliability you can count on
You can learn more about what a rate case is and what it means to you here. There will be many opportunities for you and other customers to have your voices heard before the ACC reaches a decision, likely in 2017.
